บท 290: The burn of a lily

VALENCIA'S POV

I walked into the back garden of the royal palace, enjoying the feeling that the fresh air was bringing. 

I took two whiffs of the flower I was holding, which the council had sent. It was the special flower that was calming my nerves these days, as my body was going through multiple changes, especially after I started living with Alpha Maverick.

It was hard to decipher if the sudden change in my body was due to our love-making sessions, as my hormones were constantly provoked around him, or if it was related to the awakening of the devil. 

The environment and weather here were slightly chilly compared to the Dark Callisto pack, and the light sunlight fanning my skin made me a little happier even when I knew what kind of people I was surrounded with.

"Miss Valencia," I heard the same cacophonic voice, hindering my pleasure, and I suppressed the urge to roll my eyes.
