Soft music played through the grand hall as Wu Qiang leaned in closer to his grandson Wu Haoyu. "The Wangs have arrived," he murmured.
Wu Haoyu's expression remained impassive. "I don't care."
A sly smile tugged at the corners of Wu Qiang's lips. "I think things are about to get quite interesting tonight."
At that moment, Huang Jiang approached, warmly greeting his old friend. "I will always be grateful to you and young Wu Haoyu. Without his persistence, I would have never found her. We both know I had given up hope long ago."
Wu Qiang inclined his head respectfully. "What are friends for? I'm pleased we could assist in locating your long lost kin."
