Huang Yanyan's POV:

Wu Haoyu gripped the absurdly oversized carnival mallet with both hands, biceps cording and bunching beneath the stretched fabric of his shirt as he expertly swung the weight in a few warmup arcs. My gaze tracked the flex and ripple of his powerful frame with undisguised raptor focus.

"See something that piques your interest, vixen?" Haoyu rumbled without glancing my way, one corner of those beautifully sculpted lips hitching up. 

I licked my lips slow and deliberate, not even attempting subtlety as my hooded stare raked over every delicious contour. "Oh, I've had my interests piqued on a whole other level from the moment I locked eyes on you, pretty boy. Don't act brand new."
