This caught Judge off guard, and he began to regret his decision to ally with the Big Mom Pirates.
He had mocked the Night Organization for daring to attend the tea party, believing they were falling into a trap he'd set with Big Mom.
But it turned out that he had fallen into her trap. In the end, he was the real fool. Pressed by Big Mom's intimidation, Judge reluctantly replied, "We have no objections."
"Father!" Niji couldn't hold back his frustration and stood up in protest. Judge, however, slapped him to the ground, saying, "Be quiet!"
With Big Mom's intervention, the Vinsmoke family had no room to object; they were in Totto Land.
If the Big Mom Pirates chose to act against them, they would likely face a grim fate. Big Mom nodded, satisfied with the Judge's compliance.
Everything was progressing smoothly according to her plan.
This time, Big Mom intended to take both the Vinsmoke family and the Night Organization under her control. She wanted it all.
As she turned to address the Night Organization, Byakuya had just finished his special dessert. Setting his napkin aside, he replied calmly, "I disagree." Big Mom's friendly expression twisted into something terrifying as an intense aura of pressure radiated from her, causing the skies to darken. "What did you just say?"
Like the Vinsmokes, Big Mom's high-ranking officers surrounded the Night Organization.
She had intended to use force if necessary from the moment the tea party began.
Yet, under this combined threat from Big Mom and her crew, Byakuya stood unmoved, showing no sign of fear. "Are you hard of hearing?" he said coldly. "I said, I disagree!"
It almost seemed like Byakuya, not Big Mom, held the upper hand. Everyone was shocked.
Speaking to Big Mom like this in Totto Land practically asked for death.
Though the Night Organization had taken down one of the Seven Warlords, Crocodile, in the eyes of those present, they still weren't on par with an Emperor's crew.
Only someone reckless would choose to confront Big Mom here.
However, given the Night Organization's reputation, questioning Byakuya's judgment would be as good as questioning the judgment of the World Government and the Marines themselves.
After all, they had spent months without uncovering a single piece of intelligence on the Night Organization, highlighting how enigmatic and powerful they were.
This realization made everyone suspect the Night Organization's strength might be far greater than anticipated.
Not far away, Morgans watched the intense standoff with growing excitement.
While others kept their distance, afraid of getting caught in the crossfire, Morgans was eager to inch closer, pulling out a small visual transponder snail to record the coming battle.
He was so excited that, if he dared, he would have shoved the snail right up in Byakuya and Big Mom's faces.
He even had a few headline ideas: "The Untold Story Between Big Mom, One of the Four Emperors, and the Night Organization's Mysterious Leader!"
Or perhaps, "Under the Watchful Eyes of Thousands: A Banquet Brawl Between a Man and a Woman—What's the Real Cause?"
Or maybe, "Big Mom Publicly Pressures the Vinsmoke Patriarch and Night Organization Leader into Submission—Is Two Husbands for One Wife Ethical?"
Of course, he knew better than to use that last title, which would certainly earn him the wrath of all three sides.
He steadied the visual snail and excitedly rubbed his wings, muttering,
"I knew it! Wherever the Night Organization appears, there's bound to be big news. Byakuya, you're truly my lucky star!"
Standing nearby, Stussy noticed his excitement. She suspected he had some connection with the Night Organization from his casual comments.
Otherwise, he wouldn't call Byakuya his "lucky star."
Moreover, the recent leak of Crocodile's confession had originated from Morgans, straining relations between the World Government and its allied nations.
Morgans might be the right person to approach if she wanted to obtain information about the Night Organization. Her eyes sparkled as she quietly made up her mind.
While Byakuya and Big Mom continued their standoff, Law, sitting behind Byakuya, was deeply moved.
He knew the conflict between the Night Organization and the Vinsmokes was due to him. It had only been thanks to Lucci and Enel that he'd narrowly escaped the Vinsmokes with his life.
In Law's eyes, he would eventually surpass the Vinsmoke family's strength.
Though he might not be there yet, he was confident he'd become strong enough to crush them and avenge his Heart Pirates crew members.
Grateful as he was to the Night Organization for intervening, he believed his worth was enough to justify their feud with the Vinsmokes.
That was why Law felt at ease staying with the Night Organization.
But now they were up against the terrifying power of Big Mom and her pirate crew—an entirely different threat from the Vinsmoke family.
The thought of facing the Big Mom Pirates made Law feel helpless, with a deep dread rising.
Yet, here was Byakuya, standing against Big Mom's demands without hesitation, all for his sake. Law was deeply moved and resolute in his gratitude.
Law suddenly stood up, bowing to Byakuya, and said, "Thank you for truly valuing me, but I can't sit here comfortably while you're risking everything against the Big Mom Pirates because of me."
Everyone's eyes turned to Law; it was obvious now that Byakuya's refusal was entirely on Law's behalf.
This earned the Night Organization some admiration, as many were moved by their willingness to fight the Big Mom Pirates for the sake of a comrade.
Yet others felt that they were courting disaster, questioning the wisdom of angering the Big Mom Pirates for a single member, risking the organization's survival.
Law continued, "I must avenge my fallen comrades, and nothing will change that." Big Mom turned her predatory gaze on Law, her voice sharp, "Do you even know what you're saying?"
Under the overwhelming pressure of Big Mom's Conqueror's Haki, Law went pale, a trickle of blood appearing at the corner of his mouth.
Just the force of her aura alone was enough to injure him—evidence of the immense difference in their power.
Convinced that he couldn't allow the Night Organization to fight the Big Mom Pirates for his sake, Law tried to speak, but Byakuya stood up before him, his voice icy.
"Did you just try to hurt one of my people? Are you looking to die?"
At Byakuya's words, the sky instantly darkened as an endless wave of storm clouds gathered over Totto Land, and a massive aura emanated from him.
It swept through the land like a relentless tide, expanding outward at a terrifying speed until it engulfed Whole Cake Island.
Under this oppressive force, the once lively Homies shattered on the spot. Whole Cake Island's residents, overwhelmed by the aura, fell unconscious within moments.
Even the relatively weak in the banquet hall found themselves pinned to the floor, unable to move.
Even Big Mom's top officers, like Katakuri, were frozen in fear as they looked at Byakuya, paralyzed by a terror that far surpassed anything they'd ever felt from Big Mom.
Staring at Big Mom, Byakuya said coldly, "Out of respect, I'll acknowledge you're an Emperor. Without that respect, you're nothing but a fat hag. Do you have a death wish, attacking one of my people?"
Perhaps intentionally or not, Byakuya's overwhelming aura seemed to leave Morgans unaffected.
Soaring through the air, Morgans made it his mission to capture every detail of this scene. He thought with glee,
"Byakuya is giving me such a gift, isolating me from his aura so I can capture this."
Gazing down at the Supernovas, the royals, the leaders of various underground organizations, and even Big Mom's high-ranking officers, all reduced to a pitiful state under Byakuya's pressure, Morgans knew this was monumental news.
Morgans was thrilled, convinced that printing the images of these defeated figures would instantly sell out the papers.
Any fear of retaliation from those present was pushed aside—his close connection with the Night Organization would now be well-known across the seas.
With a powerhouse like the Night Organization as his backing, why would Morgans fear these "small fry"? Big Mom's expression shifted, flickering with uncertainty.
She'd thought she had everything under control, but she hadn't anticipated that the Night Organization would be this defiant—or that they would have such terrifying power.
The overwhelming pressure Byakuya exuded filled her with a rare sense of unease. But as one of the Four Emperors, she had her pride to consider.
Byakuya had thoroughly trampled her dignity, and she could not tolerate it.
"You're the one with a death wish!" Big Mom shrieked, unleashing a burst of Conqueror's Haki that was par with Byakuya's.
