Late at night, after a long day's work, Rob Lucci finally had time to rest.
Having been undercover in Water 7 for four years, his skills in building and repairing ships had become more refined, and he had grown from a mere repairman to one of the five foremen.
Over these four years, Lucci had somewhat forgotten his true identity and the mission he carried.
The small interactions with his fellow workers and the simple pleasures of daily life were experiences Lucci had never had before.
Sitting on the edge of his bed, Lucci looked up at the bright moon and muttered, "It would be nice if things could always be like this."
He then shook his head with a bitter smile, knowing such thoughts were mere fantasies.
Just as Lucci was about to lie down, he suddenly sensed something unusual about the wall beside his bed.
"Is this... Blueno's Devil Fruit ability?" Lucci frowned. Why would Blueno suddenly come to find him? Did something happen?
As undercover agents hiding for years, they wouldn't contact each other unless they received a signal to regroup, which could easily arouse suspicion.
Their hidden identities were meant to be separate, with minimal interaction to avoid detection.
Blueno was a bar owner, and Lucci was a foreman at Dock One. Their identities were utterly unrelated, making unauthorized contact risky.
Lucci watched as a door shape appeared on the wall.
Just as he was about to ask why Blueno had come, the door suddenly shattered, forming a black vortex. Instead of Blueno, a fist went through the vortex.
Before Lucci could react, the powerful force struck him, sending him and his bed crashing into the opposite wall.
Byakuya and Blueno stepped out, seeing Lucci pinned against the wall by his bed.
Blueno, furious, shouted, "Rear Admiral Byakuya, didn't you say you wouldn't attack us?"
"Uh..." Byakuya scratched his head awkwardly. He indeed hadn't intended to attack, but the space had turned out to be more fragile than he expected.
He had only intended to use 10% of his strength to break the space but accidentally used 25%, resulting in excess force spilling through the vortex and causing Lucci's plight.
Byakuya looked at the angry Blueno and said helplessly, "It was an accident, just an accident. I always keep my word."
Seeing Byakuya's genuinely embarrassed expression, Blueno couldn't stay mad.
If they provoked Byakuya and he broke his promise, they would be powerless to stop him.
"Lucci, are you all right?" Blueno quickly walked towards Lucci to check his condition and explain Byakuya's identity.
"Crash!" The bed covering Lucci suddenly shattered, and a dark yellow figure shot out quickly.
Lucci had transformed into his beast form, his arms extended with his fists pressed together, channeling all his power into his fists for a powerful shockwave.
"Rokushiki Secret Art: Rokugan!" Byakuya couldn't help but smile, "This is getting more and more interesting!"
Looking at the strange man before him, Lucci had a rough guess.
This man had likely forced Blueno to find him, so Lucci immediately transformed into his beast form and prepared to unleash his strongest attack.
After dealing with this guy, he would ask Blueno for the details.
In the relatively small room, Byakuya had little room to dodge, and Lucci's speed was extremely fast.
In an instant, Lucci appeared before Byakuya, his shockwave charged to its maximum. With a roar, Lucci shouted, "Die!"
Byakuya raised an eyebrow and, in the next moment, sliced his right hand like a blade at Lucci's wrists, nullifying the shockwave.
Lucci felt intense pain in his wrists and was sent spinning uncontrollably in mid-air, landing on his back.
Before Lucci could react, Byakuya stepped forward and stomped his right foot onto Lucci's chest, pinning him to the ground with tremendous force.
"Boom!" The ground shook violently, causing lights to turn on in nearby rooms.
Thinking it was an earthquake, people rushed out to check the situation.
For a moment, the streets were filled with young women in light pajamas, creating a heavenly scene that many young men enjoyed.
Even Byakuya glanced out the window several times.
If he hadn't worried about Lucci's well-being, Byakuya would have liked to stomp a few more times to see what might happen next.
However, Lucci, under Byakuya's foot, didn't share in Byakuya's joy. His wrist bones were broken, and at least ten of his ribs were fractured.
With Byakuya's foot pressing down like a mountain, breathing became a struggle.
Blueno watched in shock as the strongest member of CP9 in 800 years, Lucci, went from attacking to being incapacitated under Byakuya's foot in just three seconds.
This gave him a new understanding of Byakuya's strength.
After a moment of stunned silence, seeing Lucci's face turning red, Blueno quickly approached Byakuya, pleading,
"Rear Admiral Byakuya, you said you wouldn't attack us."
But Byakuya didn't respond, his eyes still fixed on the women outside, muttering, "D, E, C, D, F! A?" Byakuya couldn't believe it.
How could an adult woman with an A-cup be in the world of pirates? It didn't make sense! Did she not eat as a child?
Blueno didn't understand what Byakuya was saying, but seeing Lucci almost suffocating, he knew he had to act.
Gathering his courage, Blueno gently pushed Byakuya. Byakuya frowned in annoyance, "What do you want?"
There were so many girls outside, and he hadn't finished looking.
Seeing Byakuya's impatience, Blueno tremblingly pointed at Lucci under Byakuya's foot.
Only then did Byakuya remember that Lucci was still under his foot, looking near death.
"Sorry, sorry, it felt so fluffy under my foot, I thought it was a carpet and forgot I was stepping on someone."
Byakuya lifted his right foot and wiped it on Lucci's body, enjoying the fluffy feeling again.
Lucci spat out blood, nearly passing out. Seeing Blueno's aggrieved expression, Byakuya coughed and said,
"Lucci attacked me first. I was just defending myself. I told you, I always keep my word!"
