In a captivating entrace ,Annika, accompanied by her radiant mother , stole the spotlightbwith her beauty. Alex couldn't help but be captivated by her presence , his gaze lingering as she approached . Sensing his admiration , Patrick nudged Alex teasingly, prompting a playful response.
"Looks like someone's smitten with Annika ," Patrick remarked , earning a mock scowl from Alex . "Careful , buddy ," Alex retorted, feigning a threat while inwardly grappling with his own emotions .
As Annika drew nearer , Alex's inner monologue raced , denying any hint of attraction, "l'm not interested "he muttered to himself , only to be met with Annika's astute observation . " Some people are mad ,"she quipped , igniting a playful banter between them.
The ceremony commenced , enveloping the partcipants in a vibrant display of tradition and blessings. However, Alex found himself struggling with the pungent aroma of tumeric , a stark contrast to the enchanting atmosphere. Annika's bemused expression only added to his discomfort , prompting a light hearted exchange .
" Such a strong smell," Alex remarked , attempting to mask his discomfort. Annika's subtle reaction spoke volumes, prompting Alex to question her gaze. Their playful exchange dissolved into laughter as they were ushered away for the ceremonial bath, leaving behind the lingering scent of tumeric and the promise of newfound connections.
