บท 33: Underestimated

"Enough!" Ted barked. "You want to purchase both properties? Are you insane? Young man! I understand you wish to impress the lady, but lies and deception won't get you anywhere! Unless you are one of the richest men in the country, I find it hard to believe that you can pay for both estates. Your tour has ended here. It's time to leave!"

Tyler was unperturbed by the manager's ranting.

"Have you not been listening?" Yara protested. "Are you not employed by the Sterling Hill Board to accept purchase offers? Why can't you be professional for a moment and do your damn job!"

The beauty was equally baffled by Tyler's bid but decided to stick to her role as an assistant. She had tremendous faith in her boss' words anyway.

Ted was taken aback by the outburst. "Are you serious?"

"Yes," Tyler replied. "What is the price of Prince Cove?"

"You heard him, Mr. Farkus," Yara insisted. "Policy dictates you must quote a price when asked, right?"
