36.36% Sasuke in Runeterra (League Of Legends) / Chapter 4: 4-Puboe.

บท 4: 4-Puboe.

As the night descended upon the forest, Sasuke found himself a secluded spot to set up a little camp. He didn't want to risk being ambushed again, especially with that fox still lurking around. Despite his annoyance with her, he couldn't shake the feeling of her presence lingering in the shadows.

He wants to head to the nearest town to get information about this place, but also start looking for clues about the Otsutsuki.

According to this woman's memories, He is currently located in a world called Runeterra. A rather chaotic world, if he may say so. It is located in a region called Shon Xan in the country of "Ionia".

He heads to the town of Puboe, a human town known for its prison. But he also goes there for another reason.

A large number of Vastayas would be locked up there, for him it would be more logical that a Vastaya would be linked to an Otsutsuki than a human. So he was going to question the people there.

"I am mentally tired of these things..."

Sasuke sat by the crackling fire, his back against a tree as he tried to relax and clear his mind. But every time he closed his eyes, he could feel that sneaky woman's gaze on him, her mischievous energy is not even hidden.

He gritted his teeth in frustration, trying to push her out of his mind, but she was persistent, her presence invading his thoughts like a stubborn mosquito.

"Just leave me alone," he muttered to himself, his voice laced with irritation. He didn't want to deal with her games anymore, not when he had more important things to focus on.

But just as he was beginning to drift off into an uneasy sleep, a rustling sound broke the silence of the night. Sasuke's eyes snapped open, his senses on high alert as he looked the woman.

There she was. Ahri emerge from the shadows, her tails swaying behind her as she's in front of his face, with a playful smile.

"Hey there, handsome," she purred, her voice dripping with mischief as she sits next to him. "Mind if I join you by the fire?"

Sasuke's jaw tightened at the sight of her, his irritation boiling over as he glared at her with cold intensity. "What part of 'leave me alone' don't you understand?" he growled, his voice low and dangerous.

Ahri chuckled, unfazed by his hostility as she settled herself by the fire, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "Oh, come on now, don't be shy~," she teased, her tone light and playful despite his obvious anger. "I just wanted to keep you company. Is that so wrong?"

Sasuke's grip on his sword tightened, his patience wearing thin as he struggled to contain his frustration. He didn't want her company, not now, not ever. She was nothing but a nuisance.

"Just go away," he snapped, his voice sharp with annoyance. "I have no interest in whatever game you're playing. Leave me be."

Ahri's smile faltered for a moment, a hint of hurt flashing across her face before she quickly masked it with a playful grin. "Aw, don't be like that, dear~! It hurts my heart," she said, her voice softening slightly as she met his gaze. "I promise I won't bite... unless you want me to, that is~"

Sasuke's eye twitched in irritation at her words, his patience wearing thin as he struggled to contain his temper. He didn't have time for her games, not when there were more important things at stake.

"I'm serious, woman," he growled, his voice low and menacing. "Leave me alone, or else." His rinnegan hidden by his hair stared at her with disdain.

Ahri sighed, her playful demeanor fading as she regarded him with a hint of sadness in her eyes. "Fine, have it your way," she said, her voice tinged with resignation. "But just know that I'll be watching... always."

With that, Ahri rose to her feet and disappeared into the darkness, her form melting away like a wisp of smoke as she faded from view. Sasuke watched her go with a mixture of relief and frustration, his mind buzzing with thoughts of her and what she might do next.

But despite his irritation, he couldn't shake the feeling of unease that lingered in the air. That woman may have left for now, but he knew she would be back, her presence like a shadow that refused to be cast aside.

'At this level, even the Stalkers at the academy were nice...' a shiver hit him as he thought back to that scary time. When was this woman going to stop following him?

As he settled back against the tree, Sasuke was going for a long rest, while remaining on guard.

------

As Sasuke approached the city of Puboe, his thoughts were consumed by the events of the past few days. He couldn't shake the feeling of being watched, the constant presence of the fox woman was annoying.

But he had noticed that she no longer followed him, probably gone chasing people. It's not his problem.

But as he neared the city gates, Sasuke pushed aside his thoughts, focusing instead on the task at hand.. He knew he would have to tread carefully if he wanted to avoid drawing unwanted attention to himself.

As he passed through the gates, Sasuke couldn't help but feel a sense of unease wash over him. The city was bustling with activity, but there was an underlying tension in the air, a feeling of impending doom that hung over the streets like a dark cloud.

He knew this feeling. That feeling when people are at war. It's just a mask to hide the reality of things.

Either way, he needs to find the prison and infiltrate. Something that should be simple.

He made his way through the crowded streets, his eyes scanning the faces of the people around him for any signs of trouble.

The architecture is rather exotic, the bases were the same but the structures are different.

And then, just as he was about to reach the city center, it happened. A guard stepped out from the shadows, his expression hostile as he blocked Sasuke's path.

"Hey, you there!" the guard barked, his hand resting on the hilt of his sword. "What's your business in Puboe?"

Sasuke narrowed his eyes at the guard, his patience wearing thin as he regarded him with disdain. He didn't have time for this nonsense, not when there were more pressing matters at hand.

"I have no business with you," he replied coldly, his voice dripping with contempt. "Now step aside, I don't have time for this..." Sasuke sighed mentally, problems are following him everywhere.

The guard bristled at Sasuke's words, his hand tightening on his sword as he took a step forward. But before he could make another move, Sasuke's Sharingan flared to life, his eyes locking with the guard's in a silent challenge.

In an instant, the guard froze in place, his body going rigid as he stared into Sasuke's eyes with a mixture of fear and awe.

'Nothing happened, continue your work.'

"Yes..."

Sasuke held the guard's gaze for a moment longer, his expression unreadable as he released him from his genjutsu. Without another word, he brushed past the stunned guard and continued on his way, leaving him standing in the street with his mouth agape.

As Sasuke made his way towards the city center, his gaze focused on the large prison in the distance. It was a little away from the city, probably to avoid the city being inconvenienced.

He may not know what lay ahead, but one thing was certain: he would not rest until he found the answers he sought.

-------

"Everything is ready ?" A large armored man was speaking to one of his acolytes in the shadows.

"Yes, Master Zed, the invaders are not far from the city anymore. The Navori Brotherhood are already heading towards the city and waiting for our signal." The acolyte responded with a neutral, respectful tone.

"Organize the men. We are heading to Thanze. Tell Kayn to guard the temple while we're gone." The man named Zed disappeared into the shadows, leaving no trace of his presence.

'You will taste my blades, Noxus...'
