He just poked his head out and shouted, "Yves, we gotta go."

Only then did Yves come to his senses. He withdrew his hand in a daze and sat back in the driver's seat.

Bob glanced at him and saw the disappointed look on his face. He asked tentatively, "Are you tired? Shall I drive?"

"No need." Yves replied reflexively, "I'll drive right away."

The car was running towards the destination.

Bob found a few easy topics on their way while Lizette joined the chat, which made Yves feel better.

It was always easy for the young to recover from their emotions. Troubles passed away as quickly as they came.

Soon, they arrived at the place for afternoon tea, which was a five-star hotel.

The hotel was built next to the lake, and the restaurant had floor-to-ceiling windows with a good view of the lake.
