บท 63: Desires

He felt a strong desire to be intimate with Lilian, but he held back, determined not to hurt her as he had in the past. He wanted her to be ready for him, to want him as much as he wanted her. Until then, he refused to overstep any boundaries.

As he held her close, his desires reignited, yet a part of him remained steadfast. He quietly got up from the bed and headed to the bathroom, needing a cold shower to ease his tense body. When he emerged, Lilian was already asleep.

He intentionally avoided glancing at her sheer nightgown and went to his study instead to check his emails. Aiden was managing the company well in his absence, but he knew he needed to be present that day. While he might not engage in anything too demanding, he wanted to see how everyone was doing after nearly a week away.
