บท 80: Arc 1 Epilogue
Welcome to our First Epilogue chapter. This is your host and announcer for the day… The Side Character.
I have now more than caught up with where I left off with the first Reiteration. I had earlier planned on ending the arc in chapter 80, with the multiple of Five and all, but I felt I was already dragging the chuunin exams.
This was supposed to be the second Arc of the book, but since I had forgotten to write an epilogue after Renjito became a genin, it effectively becomes the first Arc of the book.
Now that we are getting into it, it would be better if I address the elephant in the room. Why did I rewrite my story?
My main concern was that I had already made Renjiro too OP accidentally. The guy already has two of the strongest bloodlines in the story.
I am not sure if you guys really get it, but Kishimoto had to ensure these two clans are dead so that the original plot could move on. Adding a system to the mix was the same as pouring petrol on fire.
Removing the system component of the story along with tweaking the original plot like the surname and others not yet revealed, was what I set out to do with the rewrite. Did I Execute it right? I'll just let you be the Judge of it.
But I will just inform you guys after the arc, the release schedule will revert back to seven chapters a week as opposed to the current fourteen if you don't consider this week
Besides the rewrite, there is another issue I have seen you guys raise in the comment section. The streets are saying that I, Sidecharacter, nerfed Renjiro.
Now I know I am still going to get hate regardless of what I say, but lemme just give my explanation, or excuse if you'd like. It was all for the pacing of the story.
From the very start, Renjiro had all the paths in Naruto open for him. Considering how I designed the Main Character, he was not going to make logical choices from the very start.
Just like us humans, Renjiro is flawed. He was a huge fan of Kishimoto's Franchise, so of course he would want to dip his toes on the various ponds available to him and find it very difficult to focus on one path.
The various obstacles, though few, that I planned were to show him this and knock it into his thick skull if need be. Will Renjiro learn? I guess time and future chapters will tell.
The second, now first, arc was all for giving him the foundation he needed in this world. Moving forward, Renjiro will make more logical choices(I promise) as well as mistakes in his thirst for power.
I have already explained my piece on the matter. If you feel that it is pure BS. I totally get it, if you are angry about it, then come Fight me! I can and will drop my location.
For my future plans, the next arc would focus on moulding Renjiro into a capable shinobi and leader before the third shinobi war which would be a full-on arc with a 100+ chapters so beware. I think I have already said much so let me stop.

I also want to apologize for the inconsistent chapter releases over the last few weeks. The area I live in was hit by a storm and it flooded. So keeping the regular release times has been hard, hopefully things will go back to normal next week as I have already moved.
