บท 85: (LXXXV) Ambushed on a Ship

The Baelidae, now visibly wounded and enraged, began to use its Silk Stream ability more frequently, creating zones of impassable spiderwebs throughout the battlefield. The team had to navigate through the treacherous terrain while continuing their assault. 

Despite her best efforts, Claire was eventually caught in one of the spiderwebs. She was trapped as the Baelidae turned toward her, the eye sockets of the skull on its back glowing brightly.

"Claire!" Annamarie shouted, turning toward her, "Hang on! I'm coming!"

Claire, her face pale and panicked, struggled to break free as she gasped, "I… I can't… get out…"

Everyone rushed toward their trapped comrade, but the Baelidae was too quick, appearing before Claire and raising its claws before slamming them down on the girl
