"Tell me more about this Alex person." Bertram asked Kilian, his interest seemed genuine.

"Of course, sir. His first encounter with the town wasn't like the normal one newcomers have when they arrive here. His background was and still is completely unknown to us, so the guards took him into the barracks for interrogation, as well as to check if he was listed as wanted."

Bertram listened intensely as Kilian continued.

"However, still nothing came up regarding Alex. This prompted the guards to set him free, but it was reported that something set Alex off inside the barracks and he pressured two of our guards, Marco and Brune, to the point that they were stunned by fear."

At this point, both of them became silent so they could consider the weight of the words Kilian had just spoken.
