"Y'all will be facing each other in the first round. Winner will qualify for the next round," he said.

"So I'll briefly pair you guys and then it can begin. Let me tell you this, all I need is just five people." He said with a loud voice. "I don't need to tell you guys the benefits of participating before the audience and the prominent families. I'm pretty sure you all are well aware of it."

The selection began, with Zephyr going against a girl, a spear user. The battle didn't last long with Zephyr easily defeating her. The rest continued and finally it was time for Borin.

Entering the circle, he drew out his sword, his eyes sizing up his opponent. "An outer zone trash," he muttered under his breath.

Alex with his sensitive ears heard it clearly. "Still hasn't changed," he thought, shaking his head.

The guy Borin was facing was a bit nervous, both were sword users.
