Zhouzhou was startled, and quickly hugged her head with both hands, jumping to the side as she cried out with a hint of panic, "Don't strike me!"

She hadn't done anything wrong, and she certainly wasn't trying to cause any trouble. Why would lightning strike her?

In the next moment, it seemed like a disdainful snort could be heard from the sky. A small lightning branch reached out toward her, but it bypassed her and instead reached into her bag, pulling out a talisman before shooting straight at Lu Mingyuan.

With a thunderous roar, Lu Mingyuan's entire body turned pitch black, collapsing backward as his transparent spirit was yanked out and shoved into the talisman.

Zhouzhou, with her sharp eyes, saw everything clearly -- it was the Torture from Hell Talisman.

Ah, so that was what it wanted!

Why didn't it just ask for it earlier? She would've given it right away. No need to scare her like that. Hmph.
