The next day, as Zhouzhou opened her eyes, she was startled to see two panda eyes staring back at her.

With a quick start, she rolled to the side and sat up abruptly, relieved only upon seeing the familiar faces before her.

In a childish voice, she asked, "What's up?"

Her sudden movement had startled her.

He unconsciously held his breath.

The last time he felt this nervous was when he proposed to Yaya.

An Ya, too, leaned in anxiously, her eyes fixed on Zhouzhou.

Last night, after Zhouzhou murmured "dad" and fell asleep, Ye Lingfeng had intended to wake her and clear things up.

However, seeing her sleeping so peacefully, he couldn't bring himself to disturb her. He didn't want to sleep either, fearing it might all seem like a dream in the morning.
