The students hesitated for a moment before complying, the less experienced ones gathering to the left, while those with more combat knowledge lined up to the right.

Ren's mind raced as he tried to formulate a plan. He wanted to hide, but his priority was to save the kids and send them to the safe zone before the attackers reached the building.

Two more explosions rocked the academy, sending tremors through the walls. The windows rattled, and outside, thick clouds of smoke began rising into the air.

If it was not for the top-notch security measures used in the building of the academy, Ren was afraid that a few of the small buildings might have collapsed from the sheer power of the strong vibrations reverting throughout the walls.
