บท 195: Violet's battle

A horde of beasts charged towards the gates of a town, their number more than three hundred.

The army and warriors stood in formation, waiting for the beasts to get into range for the preset traps.

The beasts finally got into range, and a hole suddenly opened underneath them, causing them to fall into a pit with metal spikes at the bottom.

As soon as they fell into the hole, the mages began firing their spells into it as fast as they could.

The sounds of explosions and splattering bodies could be heard as this went on. Though they were able to slow down the beasts, most of the beasts began leaping over the hole and heading for the town.

Still, the trap had eaten a good number of them. The warriors and soldiers charged into battle, fighting off the beasts.

It soon became a very bloody scene filled with gore and flying bodies. The explosions of close combat magic and the slashing of swords were all that were heard on this battlefield.
