บท 114: The shadow League

"Allen, watch out!" Violet said.

Allen ducked as a wolf passed right over his head. The wolf landed and charged at Allen again, but an earth spike stabbed from underneath and threw it into the air.

Allen ran along the side of the earth spikes and leaped into the air. He slashed the wolf in half.

"That's the third one today. We should rest a bit," Violet said.

Leo dug out the core of the wolf and brought it to Violet.

"This gets us to four cores in total. Each of us has one, so we need to kill four more beasts for us to pass," Violet analyzed.

"Your perception has been a great help to us here. We have managed to steer clear of all the rank two beasts in the area, and also students," Allen commented.
