War was declared. The World was going into a turmoil as the two Great Empires were about to go to war. The rest of the world though was not feeling quite happy about it. Them going to war, meant the smaller and more unnoticeable movements will also appear.
They had already begun to move, the small nations, taking this as an opportunity to raise their own military might, territory and wealth. How would they have known that this war might be the last war they ever participated in, independently.

"This was not how it should have gone!! What went wrong? No, no I can't be wrong!! I am the genius Yuuki Kagurazaka! I am the protagonist damn it!!" He yelled as he charged at the culprit of all this.
A beak shaped masked noble man. He had metallic claws attached to his fingers as his boots clicked on the floor as he walked. Blood dripping from his claws as the bodies of the Harlequin Clowns were sprawled on the floor, their bodies lifeless, Kagali too was dead.
"Tch, you speak too much mongrel." Rhombus spoke as he gripped Yuuki's throat.
"You thought all was going according to your plan, but it was because of the Supreme one that you are still alive, well for now that is. Your last use is as a dead meat, for the chimeras to eat." Rhombus declared as he twisted Yuuki's head.
"I must thank Bael Sama for granting me this skill, without it dealing with him might have been a little annoying. " He muttered.
Rhombus had gained a skill from Bael that allowed him to completely shut down any skills below Unique and Jam the Unique ones. It was a skill that was synthesized from the properties of the Magic Jamming Extra Skill by Gabriel.
Throwing the dead body away he took out a crystal ball. Suddenly the ball began to light up as all the souls of the Clowns and Yuuki gathered inside it. After that was done he made a gate and disappeared, not before leaving a Japanese styled seal behind.
The seal slowly floated down as it landed on the floor. The moment it did, a huge explosion occurred as it blew a huge chunk of the Free Guild Building.

"So The East Finally declared war?" I spoke as I sipped the red tea Shuna gave me.
I was in the meeting room along with my top executives or Guardians as the name has been quite popular. People started to compare Benimaru and The rest with the Ministers of Orion, but for me, I still have a lingering feeling they are stronger.
It was a few months ago that Hinata san came, the second meeting after our fight that first one also didn't go well, with misunderstandings and all. Thankfully Luminous san decided to intervene and all was well I guess. Now the Holy Kingdom and Tempest are in a diplomatic relationship with each other.
Well, that too won't be for long. She plans to dissolve the Faith and let Bael take reign of the Divine side. Anyways, during these few months of calm before the storm, I managed to host a festival, inviting our allies and important dignitaries from over the world.
It went quite well if you'd ask me, if you ignore the silent tension that was radiating out of them. Which was understandable, two of the top Military Nations were about to go to war and this meant that they too will be dragged in it, starting a World War.
"Yes, the Empire is currently gathering it's forces and marching towards us. It will take about half a day to reach the border of Jura Forest. How do you want to proceed Rimuru Sama?" Diablo reported.
As a powerful demon, he was naturally skilled, I guess he also had proficiency in information gathering because he always seems to know about the world before the World even got to know about itself. And it always helps to have such reliable subordinates.
"This seems a bit unfair Rimuru Sama. The ones to go to war are Orion and The East, but here the war will go on our territory." Gobta raised a valid question.
"It can't be helped Gobta, our nation is strategically situated in the middle of the world. And the east will prefer to cross the Forest with a "weak" demon Lord rather than deal with High Mountains filled with Dragons and Dwarves." I answered with a sigh.
I never was a war strategy type, I'd much rather pitch a sales pitch than oversee a war.
But I guess the major bulk will be handled by Orion, we just have to act as supports.
"Any news from Orion?" I asked.
"Yes, the Prime Minister Lady Medusa sent a voice message that Their army will arrive soon." Benimaru answered.
"That's a relief. " Everyone seemed to sigh in relief as they felt a little weight lifted from their shoulders.
The Empires are known as the top tier nation because they were the best, they had better technology, military and more powerhouses than the rest. Even Tempest was currently not a match for them, so to hear that the Orion will arrive on time gave a breath of relief to us.
"Alright, we too can't slack off. Shuna , erect barriers. Benimaru, Prepare the army. Souei, keep informing me about the Two Empire's whereabouts. And Veldora, you stay." I ordered.
"Eeeh? Why? I too wanna join to fight." He Whined as I silently finished my red tea.
"Alright, then I won't give you the Next Volume of Attack on Titans." I simply said.
".....as You wish." He silently muttered as he went back to reading the manga.
"As for the rest of you guys, help wherever necessary, this will be our first Large scale battle we will be fighting so be cautious. Also don't get too overconfident with the revival abilities, the Eastern Empire might have something to negate it." I cautioned.
"We understand Rimuru Sama!"

"So Michael gained control huh?" Bael speculated as he heard the news of Rudra Declaring war on Orion.
"Medusa, assemble the Meeting." Bael ordered as she went to work.
A few minutes after, all the guardians along with the three primordial demons were gathered and knelt in one single file.
"My subordinates, it is now time to show your worth to me. To show me how much stronger you have truly become. The East has finally declared war on us and now we shall show them what we're made of."
"First, you three will be incharge of usurping the rest of the free nations. Adrigal, Roku, Shah el Ru and Elizabeth, gather your army. Isabella will teleport you guys to the outskirts of Tempest." I have the initial orders.
"We understand Supreme One."
"Next, Isabelle, Activate the LeyLines and defence mechanisms in case Feldway decide to attack Deudenia. The rest ofyou will guard the Castle with me."
"My lord, won't you participate in the war?"
Jaune or Thaleia asked.
"I will, but not yet. When Feldway decides to truly act I would too. For now this is just a war between two nations, the real fight is yet to begin." Bael smiled.
And it was true, the armies that Diablo described to Rimuru consisted of the known military Rudra had, the Insectars or the Truly strong personel of the Empire were not there. This meant that Feldway was likely testing the waters, trying to see how much Orion was determined to go.
The real war, The Final Tenma War was Yet to Begin.
