Master Cao sat, tugging at his silver beard as he listened to Master Zhu make her report of what she had encountered in the town. She had returned all the children to their rightful homes, all apart from one who claimed her parents were dead.
"So what do you suppose we do with them?" He asked with a judging glare as he waited for her response. She might be a sect master now, but he was always probing to see just what kind of person his disciples had grown up to be.
"Public execution." She said bluntly. "We need to show that crimes like this won't go unpunished and we are there to help the townspeople."
Master Cao nodded. "That is the right call. I trust you can see to it yourself?" He asked.
