Athan snapped in his reverie when Azrael probed again, doubting that the guy only visited to see his brother. "So, what brought you here? Do you have something to say? To me? Or should I call Knox?"
Athan hesitated. After a minute, he shook his head and announced, "Father asked to see Knox—
Azrael, "He's sick."
Athan eyed him exasperatedly. He pursed his lips and finished his words, "I know. I was going to say Knox and you if you hadn't cut me off. Seriously, will it kill you to let people finish talking? That kind of attitude is very rude. I advised you not to act like that in front of my father."
Azrael scoffed, "How sure are you that I will accept his invitation?"
"You won't? Then, your relationship won't progress. Anyway, he didn't mention when; he just said that you're welcome anytime you come and that…there will be no repeat of what happened yesterday," Athan reassured him.
