Knox lowered his head. He stared at the floor blankly, his mind was preparing his heart for what would come next. His father wanted him to choose, and he had a feeling that would greatly affect him and Knoa.
He inhaled deeply, gathering the courage to continue. "You…told me to choose…what are my options?"
Nathaniel subtly smiled. His voice was strict but there was a hint of understanding and concern in it. "If you want to seek justice from that person, I can help you with that without batting an eyelash about Shawn's situation. But if you want to stop to help your brother's fiancé, it will be hard for me to agree to that, so I want a condition."
Knox gulped, "…what condition?"
Nathaniel sighed. He stood and walked to Knox. He stopped right before him and held his shoulder as he bore his eyes on him. There was sadness in his eyes, and Knox wasn't blind to not see that.
