บท 53: Trapped in the Elevator

Time ticked by as the red light flashed. Linden quickly pressed the buttons for all other floors, but the elevator didn't stop and continued to rise rapidly.

His first instinct was to call Seraphina.

He wasn't supposed to call her during her working hours as it would disturb her.

Seraphina knew her little wolf was sensible, so she was surprised to receive his call while she was in a meeting.

Seraphina gestured to her colleagues, hurriedly left the conference room, and Linden told her, "The elevator is flashing a red light. I pressed the buttons, but they didn't respond. I'm already at the fifth floor, and I'll soon reach the third."
