บท 3: Monster
*Sigh*
It can't be counted how many times Aruna sighed when she saw her reflection in the mirror.

Aruna couldn't suppress the fierce hostile aura in her eyes the slightest. In the midst of a picture of a harmonious and happy family that filled with the sound of laughter and an aura of happiness, Aruna's current existence is truly painful to the eyes.
The reason was, Aruna was sitting in the same car with the "monster" she really hated the most. This "monster", without any hesitant calls himself "Father".

The girl's cynical smile now became even clearer. Now Aruna remembered, this year, everyone around her looked like monsters to her eyes.
Her family only cares about her genius sister who continuesly make their family proud. They became increasingly annoyed to Aruna, because at that time the real Aruna was entering a phase of rebellion. They repeatedly tried to send Aruna away to a boarding-based school. Their beautiful and touching reason was, the school will help her to develop herself and help her find her true talent. However, thanks to Aruna's fierce resistance, she managed to stay at home and made her family give up on this idea. Currently, they just chose to ignore her and turn a blind eye to whatever Aruna did, as long as it didn't tarnish their family's name.
In addition, at this time she also doesn't have anyone who she can called as her good friends who are ready to take her side.
In this world, at this moment, she was alone. She only has one person who keeps standing by her side, his name is Vino. While the others, are scary monsters who always try to tear her apart, Vino always standing on her side, gives her unlimited love that she needed at that time. Therefore, the old Aruna really attached to Vino.
After remembering this fact, Aruna's heart felt very heavy. She had forgotten this matter for a long time, because in 2024 Aruna had made peace with everything and everyone. She had succeeded in solving all the missunderstanding with her family, and the monster is already gone. So, she can live as a normal person.
'Suddenly, my life felt very difficult. This period is the darkest phase in the chapter of my life. Yet, I come back to this specific time. It really is the worst. If I can choose, I would never want to go back to this time. Even just remembering it is still hurts me.'
Aruna spent the rest of the journey remaining silent, turning her face to the street outside while thinking about how to survive here. Ignoring the laughter of her family which sounded like they were mocking her.
'Actually, I know, everything is getting worsen because I also have a huge contribution in making the existing problems worse. Simply put, my family and I both failed to understand each other. We never hated each other, in fact, we loved each other too much. Therefore, if there is anything, even the slightest thing that does not go according to our expectations, we will feel very, very disappointed.'
'It's just that their treatment to me at this time feels quite painful for "me" who is still 12 years old.'
Without realizing it, warm water accumulated in the corners of Aruna's eyes. Her eyes felt like they were burning, because she was holding back desperately not to cry.

Unfortunately, the habits and psychology of 12 years old Aruna dominates at the moment.
So, her mind was in chaos. It was as if there were two sides trying to occupy and subdue the other side. As if there was a power struggle between two equally powerful kings.
'Apparently, I was too arrogant when I said I would skin the sheep alive. I forgot, there is another "monster" that is so close, that lives inside me. That monster is me, myself. The strongest monster that has ever existed on this earth.'
Without realizing it, Aruna's family car had arrived in a restaurant courtyard that looked so warm. It really fits the image of her current family, except for her. Only she looked strange here. A gloomy gray color, which appears amidst the warm yellow color.
Aruna rubbed her eyes with the back of her hand, then immediately followed behind her family.
Various plans emerged in her little brain, but all of them required the same thing, it is: help from the other parties.
'I'm still too young to do anything myself, I'm too distance to my family to warn them with using a mere words, the point is, whatever I choose, I can't do it alone. I need someone.'
