บท 346: • Summoning Of Lords

Standing against the sky like a formidable sentinel, the First Wing Bastion was well awake that morning. Sunlight slipped between drifting clouds, gleaming across the stained glass windows and dancing along the rooftops, where banners bearing the Wing's insignia rippled in the breeze.

There were the usual birds which were flitting and swooping around the peaks, making the structure of fortitude seem a bit more inviting by lending a momentary softness. This was also accompanied with the faint rustle of leaves stirred by the wind, and the sound of Gentlefolks of the townships from a far distance, handling their business of the day.

However, there was not anything inviting or soft about the day in the First Wing Bastion. Outside the bastion gates, there was a display of strength and readiness which overshadowed the serenity.
