The rain had subsided for hours now, and just after the path they were presently on was the changing mountains.
The air was thick now with the aftermath of the Blood Rain Calamity. The landscape bore scars from the acid rain, rocks and the strange vegetation alike corroded and damaged.
But seeing the weird colossal shapes of the changing mountains in the distance gave them hope and the fuel to go faster. Still, how long did it take for the next Calamity to begin?
It was only hours. It seemed the Paradoxical Expanded Realm was angry now, infuriated by the team's everlasting resilience. And so struck the next Calamity; the Mad Hurricane.
First, the wind began to howl. Spheris was the first to stop on his tracks as his ear perked to the subtle sound, and his skin felt the subtle change. The air grew colder and the sky took an ominous brown, changing from its usual crimson once again.
