When they reached the second-floor corridor, the two of them used the same trick again, exploiting the difference in view at the corner of the corridor to once again leave two deep wounds on the Two-headed Ogre.

However, this time, because they had entered from the corridor rather than retreating into it, they couldn't continue back down to the first floor after their second strike. Instead, they could only dodge along the second-floor hallway.

But corridors inevitably come to an end, and soon they had retreated from room 201 to the front of room 206, with the already-broken door of room 206 behind them, leaving them no path of retreat.

Seeing this, the two exchanged a glance, then, as if they had previously agreed upon a plan, they both stepped into room 206 at the same time.

Thud, thud, thud!

Just as they had shut the door, the heavy footsteps of the Two-headed Ogre already reached nearby.

The two quickly moved away from the position in front of the door.
