All Arkanis wanted was to live longer... much longer than his father had!

So, he realized he had no choice but to harness this new technology, to create a cure... even if it only delayed the inevitable, it would be worth it!

For his initial test subjects, he took the children of the servants who worked tirelessly for him, testing the new unknown device on them slowly, bit by bit.
