Sebastian glanced at Kenway, who was defending himself against five moundfang termites.

The knight's sword sliced and slashed, but his attacks barely penetrated the monsters' indestructible carapaces.

Instead, Kenway concentrated on defense, using his shield to deflect the termites' ferocious bites and swipes. A termite surged at Kenway, snapping its mandibles.

The knight barely lifted his shield in time as the creature's jaws clamped down on the metal with a clang. He pushed the insect back and swung his sword, making a shallow cut over its round face.

Another termite attacked from the side, but Kenway reacted and caught the attack with his sword.

He struck the insect with his shield, temporarily stunning it, but two more termites charged forward, forcing him to back a step.

One of Leo's arrows found its mark, killing one of the creatures attacking the valiant knight.
