บท 369: Grandpa's happiness.

Grandpa Tai put down his chop sticks, he looked at Alix, joy in his eyes and on his lips which had formed a smile. She had just delivered the best news to him this month and gone back to eating so easily as if it was not a big deal. Did she not understand the gravity of her words? 

He had been waiting for a long time for her to make this decision, to be a Tai not just in heart but name too. It was too bad that he couldn't filter her blood and change her DNA as well. 

Grandpa Tai took a deep shaky breath and a lone grateful tear slipped out of his right eye. The happiness he was experiencing was not something he could express with mere lip service. He lowered his head and the tear drop fell into his breakfast box, landing on a mini sized pineapple bun.
