|3rd POV|
Norio looks at the massive city in the distance through his spyglass.
"It is bad."
He says after looking at the walled city.
"How is it bad, General?"
He looks at the younger man and says.
"That city has a massive wall, boy. The wall alone let them defend the city for years or even a decade. We do not bring the people to do that long of a siege."
"And that is why we have the people from Tyrosh to attack from the city."
"Ah, yeah. The sea. The sea where a wall protects them. They can enter through the massive archway, but it will be hard because an army will be waiting for them when the enemies see a fleet appear on the horizon."
"You disapprove of this action, General."
"Of course, I disapprove! This kind of action will weaken our city! Those magisters do not know anything about war and think money can defeat the Solaris Kingdom who are increasing their military."
"We have seven thousand men from across the world. That should be enough when combined with the three thousand men from Tyrosh."
"Are you not hearing me? We do not have enough men to throw at them. Ten thousand men is not enough. That wall alone needs years for us to breach. They will not let us get closer to their city, and even with catapults, we need years to breach that thing."
Norio knows about this because he was a sellsword in the past who joined a campaign in Yi Ti. He sees how a tall wall can hold a campaign for years if they have a good defender on the wall and enough food supplies.
And the Solaris Kingdom has both of them.
"You that I shall report this to the Magister, right, General?"
"I don't care if you report it. I don't even know if we can survive this war long enough for them to punish me."
Norio shakes his head and says.
"Tell the others we will march tomorrow morning. We will start the siege early in the morning, and the others can start building the catapults when we start the siege. Let's just hope the rumor of the Night Demon that terrorizes the Dothraki is not true."
With that, Norio and his army prepare for the siege. Sadly for him, what he hears from the rumor is not just a rumor. As the sun goes down, he does not see a group of people leave the city they are about to siege.
There are twenty people in this group, and the leader is Ser Willem Darryl. He and his men run through the dark and arrive near the camp of Norio and his army. Under the cover of the night, they chug the Potion of Invisibility and disappear into the night. The only thing that appears is their enchanted bows, arrows, and waterskin filled with poison, which make it look like they are floating in the air.
However, that is not a problem as the dark covers them nicely, and only someone with very sharp eyes can see them from a few meters away.
Willem and his men go through the forest and make sure no one notices them. They carefully walk through the forest and make sure the guards do not notice them, and when they arrive at the camp, they poison their water supply and food.
When they are done, they leave the camp and point their arrow at the camp. As the arrows fly out, they light on fire and hit the nearby tent. The fire started small, but it quickly spread across the camp.
With their mission done, Willem and his team return to the city, leaving the burning camp.

Norio looks at the city with tired eyes. Yesterday was horrible for him and his army. A good number of his people died from poisoning. It is a miracle that the number is not over three hundred people, and he has not eaten breakfast.
Because of this incident, water and food were thrown away as he feared all of them being poisoned. Sadly for them, just what happened to the Dothraki, Willem ordered his men to scare the animals from the northern region and make sure no animal was in that area for them to hunt. They also destroy all the fruit trees and vegetables they can eat.
The army does not get much food; they only get a small number of animals and manage to forage for some mushrooms.
Even with low energy, Norio forces his force to start the siege and arrive in front of the Gurlian City. Because of his veteran status, Norio knows where they need to stop outside the range of archers on the wall.
His cavalry and archers are prepared to attack anyone who dares to get out of the gate. He knows he cannot do anything to the people going out via the water, but they can prevent anyone from getting out of the gate.
However, as they are busy preparing for their siege, Willem and his army are also busy. They are preparing to attack.
Willem stands next to the giant scorpion and looks at the army in front of him with all the hatred he can muster. He looks at the engineer preparing for the scorpion and says.
"Is it done?"
"Just a few moments, General. We are attaching the bolt with the Wind Bomb."
Wind Bomb is something that they come up with. It is four Wind Charges combined together by pressing them together really hard and storing them in a tight box made of strong wood from the Summer Islands. The last step is to let them stay there for three days. When the box hits the ground really hard, it will create a massive explosion that throws anyone near the sky.
"We are done, sir. Where do you need us to aim?"
Willem looks at the siege camp in front of him and looks at the people moving trees into the camp.
"Can you aim in that general direction?"
The engineer nods his head and says.
"Destroying their siege engine, eh?"
The engineer moves the scorpion and aims at the camp. When they are ready, Willem shouts.
"Fire!"
