The Four Emperors pirate group and the organization that can easily handle them are on completely different levels.
Jinbei and the crew swiftly defeat the BIGMOM Pirates, so he knows well how strong they are. The Crusaders are much like the Straw Hats now, relying on a small group of powerful fighters to unleash incredible power.
Luffy, Zoro, Sanji, and Jinbei himself bring a formidable Admiral-level combat power. On the other hand, Bullet, World, and Hawkeye also possess admiral-level strength, while Crocodile and Moria are not slouches either.
But things could change. If the Cross Union joined forces with Kaido's crew, their strength would skyrocket, making them the most powerful pirate group ever.
However, Jinbei knows there's no friendship between them and Bullet and World, especially after witnessing their brutality. Bullet even craves an ultimate battle with them.
Despite the complications, Luffy finds it all exciting. He believes the unpredictability of the sea is what makes it thrilling.
Zoro shares Luffy's sentiment, itching for a challenge. He dreams of becoming the world's greatest swordsman, a promise he made to Kuina.
Sanji, too, is ready for a fight. His observation is that Haki has improved, almost reaching Katakuri's level.
Robin has evolved as well, reaching Shichibukai level strength after completing her triple evolution.
As Luffy ponders the crew's progress, he's intrigued by the mention of a "limit breakthrough," prompting him to explore the system further.
Only Luffy could see the light curtain, but everyone's interest was piqued.
After the first evolution, their avatars turned grey, signalling they couldn't evolve further. But now, with the light appearing, it meant they could evolve again.
Luffy selected Chopper's profile, revealing options for Haki, physical fitness, and Devil Fruit ability breakthroughs. He shared this new information with Sanji.
Sanji speculated that the limit breakthrough was designed to help them surpass their previous limits. Each member's breakthrough options aligned with their first evolution.
Sanji suggested that Luffy start with a breakthrough in physical fitness, knowing that Luffy should be the first to evolve as a captain.
Considering their battle experience, Sanji reasoned that Luffy, Zoro, Jinbei, and himself should focus on breaking through their physical limits to enhance their combat effectiveness.
Luffy agreed and chose to evolve his physical fitness on the light curtain. It required 10,000 evolution points.
After the breakthrough, Luffy felt a surge of power coursing through him, followed by intense hunger. Sanji quickly cooked a large meal, which Luffy devoured, instantly feeling replenished.
Nami marvelled at Luffy's transformation while Sanji asked how he felt now.
Jinbei inquired about Luffy's feelings after the breakthrough.
Luffy enthusiastically described feeling lighter and stronger, as if released from a lock.
Chopper noticed Luffy's vitality had significantly improved, likening it to a blazing fire.
Luffy noted his avatar turned dark after the breakthrough, indicating he couldn't evolve further in that aspect.
Sanji asked if Luffy felt stronger, but Luffy didn't sense any immediate changes. Sanji speculated that the limit breakthrough was a one-time event and could be due to some burden on their bodies.
Luffy revealed they still had 15,000 evolution points left, thanks to the generous points gained from battling the BIGMOM Pirates.
Sanji estimated that each of their physical breakthroughs cost around 10,000 points, based on previous ratios.
Since Luffy and Zoro were already close to their physical limits from the first evolution, Sanji suggested giving the breakthrough to either Luffy or Zoro.
Jinbei agreed that Zoro should receive the breakthrough, especially with his upcoming battle against Hawkeye.
Usopp supported this decision, knowing Zoro's dream of becoming the world's greatest swordsman.
Sanji also favoured Zoro for the breakthrough, given his impending battle.
With everyone in agreement, they decided to give the breakthrough to Zoro, aiming to boost his chances of victory against Hawkeye.
Zoro's dream of defeating the world's greatest swordsman weighed heavily on him, a goal he held dear but kept to himself. Despite the encouragement from his crewmates, Zoro hesitated to pursue a breakthrough.
As Zoro held up the sword "Wado Ichimonji" – he reflected on his journey. He remembered his determination to become stronger after facing the bear attack at Thriller Bark. Accepting Luffy's evolution had brought them immense power, but now, Zoro felt his sword skills had reached their limit.
Zoro wanted to defeat Hawkeye with his own swordsmanship, believing that if he couldn't win with his skills, then his journey would lose its meaning. He saw his current abilities as the culmination of years of practice and didn't want to surpass them with a breakthrough.
Despite his crewmates' support, Zoro remained steadfast in his decision. He slipped the sword "Wado Ichimonji" back into his scabbard, feeling at peace with his choice.
Respecting Zoro's wishes, Luffy decided to give the breakthrough to Sanji instead. With no objections from the crew, Sanji accepted the challenge, and the scan revealed he needed 9,000 evolution points for the breakthrough.
Unlike Luffy's transformation, Sanji had to cook for himself this time, as no one was around to prepare a meal for him.
It looks a little funny to eat while cooking.
