"First it was Phina who chose to commit suicide, then Marianna, faking her death for years and now Grace, who interestingly, metamorphosed from a nanny into a convenient lover whose about to be kicked out even before she's able to find her footings. Hahaha."

"Trent!" Both Grace and Jace yelled at the same time, but unlike Grace who stopped after calling out his name, Jace proceeded in a cold steely voice.

"One more word about Grace and I won't be held responsible for my actions. And let me warn you, if you had anything to do with this…"

"Oh, don't waste your accusations on me, brother," Trent interrupted smoothly, as he raised a hand in feigned innocence. "This has nothing to do with me. I'm just here… enjoying the show." 

'How so, and that quite coincidentally,' Caden couldn't help but sneer in his heart. 

He'd be damned if Trent expects anyone to believe he had no hand in Marianna's sudden appearance and he also believes Jace didn't believe him.
