Jace was speechless. What has come over them?

He leaned back in his chair, running a hand over his face as he tried to process the absurdity of their conversation. 

The last thing he expected after a long day of meetings was an interrogation from these two nosy friends about his love life.

"Are you two serious?" Jace finally asked, his voice laced with disbelief.

"Dead serious," Todd replied, leaning forward with a conspiratorial grin. "We've been waiting for this day for years. The cold, impenetrable Jace Brandon has finally met the love of his life, and you're trying to act like it's business as usual?"

Bruce nodded in agreement, still casually munching on his snacks. "We just want to be prepared for the inevitable. You know, make sure everything goes smoothly when you finally pop the question. Maybe even plan a bachelor party that doesn't involve you working through the night like you usually do."
