บท 244: Do You Have A Special Hobby?

Richard nodded, seeming satisfied with her response. "Think about what I have said carefully and let me know what you have decided. Good night, Grace," he said and again for the first time, Grace noticed that his tone was gentle as he spoke to her.

With that, he picked up a newspaper from the desk, signaling that the conversation was over. 

"Good night, Mr Brandon," Grace said softly, bowed and moved to the door.

As she left the study and closed the door behind her, Grace couldn't help but feel a deep sense of relief. But at the same time she wondered why Jace did not tell his parents that they were already in a relationship. 

Her mind was still preoccupied as she walked down the corridor. 

Suddenly a hand grabbed her wrist and pulled her into a room before she could say "Jack."

She was startled and prepared to release a punch when her hand was captured midair. Not long after a familiar scent invaded her nostrils and she relaxed visibly.
