บท 238: Where Is Grace?

Jace brushed a strand of hair from her face, "You don't need to thank me. Just promise me you'll never leave Charles and I."

Grace stared deep into Jace's eyes. "Jace, what are you trying to say?"  

"Jace took a deep breath. "Grace, I'm not trying to say anything. I'm telling you that you should never think about leaving us. Charles and I can't imagine our lives without you."

He didn't want to completely reveal his plans to Grace until she's able to fully integrate herself into his circle and accept him irrespective of his special status. 

Also, he wanted to help her achieve success and build a personal status that will make her stand tall and proud beside him in the future. But for now, first things first.

"So officially, will you be my girlfriend?" he asked. 

Although he could roughly guess her answer, he still felt a little bit of  apprehension as he waited.
