บท 227: Faking It To Get Cheap Attention

"Can you explain to me how I coerced her? And why is the promise she made to me considered lame?"

Richard glared at his wife as he walked up to the two people who were clearly dishonoring him before a mere nanny. 

The tension in the room was thick enough to cut with a knife as Richard's eyes bored into his wife, demanding an explanation. 

Seeing what her words had caused, Grace looked towards Jace to help his mother out. 

But again Jace just stood there watching the scene unfold with amusement. He had been initially caught off guard by Grace but when he understood that she was trying to get back at him he had relaxed. 

"Grace darling, take Charles to rest. I think he's had enough drama for the day," Rose said affectionately.

Grace nodded and glanced at Charles whose eyes were already heavy with sleep.

If it wasn't for that damned Trent, he would already be sound asleep by now probably dreaming about all the fun he had today.
