"I understand," she replied, her voice shaky. "But Wendy's mother doesn't have much time. If there's any other way to help her, we need to find it. I can't just let her die if I can do something."

"What about reaching out to a wider network? Maybe there's someone who can help us find a donor quickly. We could contact hospitals, medical charities," Grace suddenly suggested but Jace still had a sad expression as he shook his head.

"I've done all that, but didn't get any positive result."

"What of using social media to spread the word," Grace suggested again. "You never can tell how effective that will be. I still doubt there won't be any match in the entire world for Mrs Gales apart from Trent."

If there was any time Grace was afraid of giving Trent's request a try, it was now. After hearing what he did with Phina, she was scared for her life.
