As Jace stepped into his office, he was immediately greeted with an unexpected sight.

His cousin, Trent, whom he hadn't seen in years, sat in his chair, a smug expression on his face.

"What are you doing here?" Jace asked, his tone tinged with anger and suspicion.

Trent Rockfeller smirked, leaning back in the chair. "Surprised to see me, Jace? You shouldn't be. After all, family should stick together, right?"

Suresh hovered nervously by the door, sensing the tension in the room. Al his attempts to get Trent out of his boss's office had failed woefully.
