บท 31: Bear The Consequences

By late afternoon, Charles's room was still locked and Grace had exhausted all ideas to make him open the door.

"How long has he been locked in there?" Mr Fitz asked, alarmed at the consequences of Charles remaining there for too long."

He had gone out after breakfast to run some errands and didn't expect to meet such a situation when he came back.

"It's been over an hour," Regina, who had kindly told him about the situation as soon as he came back, answered before Grace could even say anything. "He had refused to open his door, and hadn't taken his lunch, either. I'm scared something might have happened to him inside."

"Stop talking nonsense. Nothing will happen to him," Mr Fitz rebuked sternly.

"I'm sorry Mr Fitz, but we all know what usually happens whenever Master Charles gets like this," Regina solemnly pointed out.
