บท 219: Is This A Joke, Caesar?

"You are the only woman I want, and only you exist." Caesar sounded bored out of his mind, truly uncaring of the situation with Vera. "Do you forgive me?"  

"No," Adeline responded, a stubborn expression on her face. "I'll forgive you when I feel like it." She looked away from him. 

"But I-"  

"No! I will not forgive you, even if you force me. In fact, it will make things worse, so watch it!" She snorted at him, not even giving him a chance to say a word. A blush had painted itself above her ears and cheeks.  

Caesar was dormant for a few seconds, just staring at her, before falling over to lie on the bed next to her. "But I can touch you, can't I?"  

Adeline didn't refuse. She turned to her side, covering herself properly with the duvet. Caesar slipped under it and his arms snaked around her stomach to pull her flush against him.  

"I'll take that as a yes," he said before biting into her shoulder, a soft breath exiting his nose.
