บท 47: Chapter 47 Fiore Archives
The archives of Fiore were a record kept by the kingdom and the council since the day of their formation. The main objective of the records is to keep the knowledge and memory all the disasters that has been averted. They also included the disasters and the information about the causes of disasters that happened centuries ago. The disasters which are successfully averted are also listed in it along with the wizards or individuals that averted it as well. This is done so that the information can be used by the future generations.
Right now, in the records a new set of information is being added. The Drakon battle in the redwood forest that stopped the arrival of millions of drakons that were targeting the etherion present in the entire world essentially allowing them to cross over will lead to the destruction of Earthland as a whole.
The ritual conducted by the Drakons were found by newly minted S class wizard genius Karna Vermillion and his teammate B class wizard Cana Alberona. They managed to obtain the information that allowed the council to know about the threat they are going to face and were able to call upon a team of 16 wizards to face the 5 drakons conducting the ritual
There were earlier records of drakons in the archive that had information about its characteristics from which it was gleaned that they have a similar physiological characteristics of dragons essentially giving them immunity to any magic other than those match their signature or magic used by wizards that outclasses the magic level of the drakons at least by five times
The way to tackle this incident was created by Karna Vermillion who with his intellect had created a slayer type magic catered to the slaying of drakons which according to older records were almost impossible to create due to many restrictions. Then Karna vermillion had made imprints which temporarily allowed wizards to convert their magic to drakon slayer magic , take part in the battle against the 5 drakons and was able to emerge victorious. Though the price was the life of two s class wizards Agnes Art and Rag Retud whose names will be remembered for their sacrifice for the sake of the world
Wolfheim finished writing the records of the battle that had just finished . he reread what was written to check for any kind of errors. Seeing nothing he began to use magic to include more details on each sentence which can only be accessed by a special code of the future council members.
Now if anyone accesses these files outside of the council, they will only be able to get the few amount of information written now all the important details will not be acquired by outsiders and only council members. This way information stored in the council will remain safe and if one day all the council members come across an accident, the people who comes on later will not be able to get the important detailed report but will get enough information that will help them in the future.
After writing the reports Wolfheim let out a sigh. He was trying his best not to think about the topic that has been creating headaches for him but because of the position he is in where he has to decide the future protection of Fiore and sometimes Earthland itself he has to prepared for everything.
The other three gods of Ishgar has their own duties but he has to be the one in charge of the strategies and plans. He then took out a file that was on his desk. On the top of the file a name was written
KARNA VERMILLION
He then opened the file to see all the information present in it

250 C rank
125 B rank
And 67 A rank
With assisting 5 S rank quest excluding first S rank quest to redwood forest and the SS rank quest of Drakon slaying"
Wolfheim let out a sigh reading the information in the file where the details of each quest were written .Karna's official career had started when he was 8 years old an now he has reached 11 years old
A total of 742 within that small timeframe. Even if we count the multiple C rank and D rank quests which overlapped with each other , no one can deny that even most wizards who had the career of more than 20 years can say that they have done this many quests. And the fact that he had never failed a quest that he had took and the casualty level and destruction caused by the completion of the quests is almost nil.
Being an archer may have given him the ability to complete the quests in a clean manner but still this record is unmatched by almost anyone. This made Wolfheim contemplate what would have driven the kid to push himself this much.
Wolfheim put back the file and thought about Karna who had left after waking telling to sent all of his achievements back to the guild. He wanted to keep in in the council because of his identity but he knew that trying to control his freedom will only bite them back in the end.
He has seen the intellect shown by the boy and the way he executes it both in the case of creating and executing magic and the fact that archery magic being one of the best magic suitable for assassination has not been disregarded by him. Karna's intellect mixed with assassination, the thought brought chills to his spine.
Wolfheim then turned his head towards the file again and stood up looking like he made a decision. He then went to meet Warrod someone whose permission he felt like he should take before he make such a decision.
At the same time at another place in Fiore
Karna looked towards a lady walking away from a mansion, he also saw a man following the lady with a knife
"its time to tweak the strings of fate a bit" he said while pulling back the string of his bow.
