บท 39: Tang Zizheng’s Confession

Listening to Jiang Haolin's words, Tang Zizheng raised his head and said, "If I told you that I was forced to terminate my marriage engagement with Xin Xin, would you believe me?"

Jiang Haolin raised his eyebrows and asked, "Zizheng, are you kidding me? Who can force you to do something you don't want to do?"

Tang Zizheng looked at him seriously and said, "No, I'm very serious." 

Jiang Haolin thought for a moment and said, "But I didn't see that you were forced to break off the marriage engagement. That day, you seemed to really hate her and didn't want to have anything to do with Xin Niang anymore. You also said those hurtful words to her in public."

Reminded by Jiang Haolin, Tang Zizheng clenched his hands and said, "I know you may think I'm crazy, but someone at the time really controlled me. What I wanted to say changed when I said it. When I said those words, I was controlled by someone, and I couldn't stop it."
