"Do you mean to say that you do not want me to touch you because I make you feel something?" Nicolai asked with childlike glee. "You caught feelings for me, Pallas?" 

Of course, the stubborn woman shook her head. But surprisingly no words came out of that annoying mouth.

"Then you need to stop looking at me like that, it is as if you are fucking begging me to kiss you." 

Ariana shook her head again, but she did not push him away. No antagonizing or contemptuous words came out of her damned mouth. 

She just stared at him prettily as if she were waiting for him to deliver what he promised. 

"Fuck," Nicolai cursed as he brought one of his hands to cover his face. Fuck this vixen. She was one of the most infuriating women he had ever seen, which was something Nicolai had seen countless women. 

But she was also the only one who made his body burn with an ache that Nicolai had never experienced before.
