By the time Northern realized how much trouble they were in, it was too late.

Just when he decided to close the distance between him and Night Terror, to inform the creature of the danger they had failed to see while hoping that it would understand that at times like this, running away was not a bad idea.

A bigger Corpse Eater suddenly jumped out of the darkness, slashing downward on Night Terror's torso, but the latter had already seen it coming and was able to lurch backward a moment before.

This provided it with the chance to react with an even more ferocious attack, launching its claws into the abdomen of the monster.

The air seemed to split as Night Terror's monstrous arm lunched forward, easily piercing into the monster's abdomen with its sharp claws and coming out from the back.

The powerful Terror raised the impaled monster to the sky, bathing itself in its black blood, as four eyes gleamed with the promise of more horror to come.
