[ Smith Mansion… ]

"Honey, dinner is ready," Sasha welcomed Dominique in her cheerful mood. She approached him, giving him a peck on his cheek before removing his coat.

Dominique just nodded his head to acknowledge her. "I'm going to take a shower first."

Dominique ascended the stairs without glancing back, his thoughts still consumed by the afternoon's dream. It was surprising that he hadn't experienced a nightmare.

For the past five years, he had been haunted by the scene on the bridge, Sabrina always appearing in his nightmare– crying, hating, and blaming him.

Meanwhile, Sasha observed Dominique silently, her mind filled with lingering doubts and questions.

{ Sooner or later, your husband will get tired of you and dump you. You can't even conceive his child! }

Melody's words kept replaying in her ears.
