บท 96: Midterm Combat Test

"Today is the School Midterms Competition?"

Seeing Lou's clueless face, Shu can't help but to inform him.
School Midterms Competition is same as Midterm Test that the school conduct yearly to check for the students learning ability.
Just like the academic test, there's also the tournament to see how much the students improve after couple of weeks of training.
The result can determine what kind of future the students have to what kind of treatment the school should give to each student.
The school is not just academically school but also a class oriented school who have huge resources for those who are worth to train.
And because the school is a Mid Level Type school, the resources is not that great, there's only couple of slot for students so they conduct this kind of test to see who's worth helping and who's not.
Of course, having a member of the scholarship team did not mean the end, if ever your ranking go down or get beaten by other students, your resources will be taken and your own Ranking.
This is the survival of the fittest, only personal strength is the only thing that you can you to take leverage for all things that the school can give.
"I see, but I think I don't remember I pass my paper at teacher last time."
"Impossible!'
"What's that face?"
"How can your name listed in the Death List if you did not join?"
"What?"
Shu take his phone, he open the school website on the school fight schedule, swiping his phone he stop in the Block F.
"See this, isn't this you?"
Lou can see it clearly.

"Ha? Why my name is here?"
Shu notice that Lou also dont know what happen.
"You really don't know?"
"Do you think I will ask if I know?"
"Then there's something wrong here if you really did not participate."
"Well nevermind, by the way, why did you say Death List?"
"You really are a fool, can't you see who's next to you?"
Lou look at the Block F and see familiar names included in the list.
"Isn't this practically the hardest group in the list?'
"That's right, all the Seeded Player actually listed in the Block F that's why I said it's a Death List."
Lou don't understand why this people of all List is on his Block, how can there's such coincidence that all strong student is on his Block.
