"I will take some time to think about it," Taffi retorted. How could he join forces with a northern wizard to destroy a gem that was key to their existence? He didn't know so much about the legend or the gem and whether or not it was true. He only needed time to confirm because every wizard's dream was to be free from her.

"Time,Taffi, how much time do you think we have?" The king asked him with a serious look and a persuasive countenance.

"Mind you, this gem has been out of the realm for one year, and I've done a good job keeping it out of reach, what makes you think that in no time they'll not find it? This is the empress Taffi…

"I can't agree to do something that I'm not fully aware of." Taffi cut him off with a frown. He couldn't understand the King's desperation and wouldn't like to play along.
