Taffi sighed as he stood in front of the door which was locked from the outside. He didn't have a key but didn't need one anyway.

His hand shook vigorously as he tried to unlock it, the color of his eyes slowly returning to normal, and as much as he had no control, the curse seemed to also respect the person he loved the most.

The door was unlocked, and Taffi took a deep breath before turning the door knob and opening the door, only to see his wife curled up on the mat.

As soon as she heard the door open, Sania looked up thinking it was one of those men that locked her up, but to her greatest surprise, it was Taffi.

She stood up briskly and ran to him without hesitation, unable to believe how quickly he found her. How did he know that she wasn't the one? She couldn't tell but was genuinely delighted to see him.

She enveloped him in a warm hug, ignoring the sweat that covered his body from head to toe,
